Great girls trip! Positive: Everything is so stinking cute! Negative: Nothing it was perfect

Fall down the rabbit hole Positive: Charming cottage feel, whimsical. A couple with young children would be taken away. The decorations were over-the-top great! The kitchen was marvelous with just about anything you could think over in cookware and dishware. This was a sisters overnight trip for us and it took us back to our childhood. Our hostess was always available and their responses were very quick. The backyard was charming and cozy-fire pit and all. Negative: The stairs were difficult for me with back issues. I'm short, getting in the bath would have been difficult. May have been the time we were there but the large truck traffic ran late in the night and started back early next morning.

The cutest little house. Perfectly coordinated chaos of Alice in Wonderland. Our 8 year old was in heaven! Just be mindful of the steep stairs going to the bedrooms. Located next to antique shops and really great restaurant.

A fun house for a ladies birthday weekend celebration for a friend which made it a unique experience. The house is decorated in the entire Alice in Wonderland theme with every room and section having some whimsical and clever design like in the story. Our favorite was the shrinking doors section of the home. The only issue with the home is the other two bedrooms are upstairs with the only bathroom being downstairs and the stairway is a little concerning to navigate if you have any elderly people with you. We left our suitcases downstairs as we were only staying one night. The stairway does have handrails to hold onto from beginning to end which helps.The owner/manager was exceptionally kind to help me with buying balloons and have it placed in the home when we arrived to surprise my friend. She even added a birthday cupcake/cake and sweet card to go with the balloons. The home is in Jackson in a quiet area and doesn't have a lot of activity but is close to St. Francisville if you want to avoid the higher rental costs you may find there but still be close to all of the fun shops and restaurants and events.
